The longing never dies

To get back to you again
But I am readyย to endure the pain.
A small part of meย will Always be with you
Although our bodies are in a messy state,ย strolling past strangers,ย our inner children hungerย to reach out to one another.ย Remember and listenย to your inner child before itโs too late.
Their Ego made them walk away
Their alter ego, the child in them,ย wished them to stay.
We lie
We hide
But our inner selves just collide
They take glances of each other
And say in pride
That they miss each other
And in each otherโs thin skin
They ,with their instincts
Just slowly slide.
Itโs our love,
that has gone stale,
but once upon a time,
it was a fairy tale,
what if we canโt
face each other today,
the child in us will crave,
for the bygone era,
of our love,
every minute, every hour,
everyday
We may part ways,
But strange are those days
When nothing matters,
Everything shatters.
Age and Ego separated us
Though the child in us has no fuss.
Adios for now!
We will meet again somehow
Waving to each other, we said Ciao!
Farewell my love
forget me not.
Iโll remember you always
no matter what.
Forever together
frozen in time.
Inside me youโll live
my soulmate of mine.
Time changes everything!ย In time we loseย the Innocent people we once wereย and life corrupts our souls.ย Leaving behind the timeย we were the most pure.
Soul mates.ย Their inner child (soul)ย instantly recognized one anotherย from previous lives,ย but this current life told themย they couldnโt be together.
For seasons without reasonsย we dwelled on each otherย with commitment and compassionย but least did the inner-self could recognizeย the flaw that farewell is meant worthwhileย and to part is what destined.
I never showed you how muchย I wanted you to stay,
Because I was afraid that one dayย you would just walk away

If you think you are in a marriage of convenience, you will know that it doesn’t feel like a fairy tale, rather it’s about maintaining the status quo. Maybe you are staying in this marriage because everything is “okay” and “stable”.

Does this sound familiar? The unfortunate truth is that many married couples stay in a loveless marriage because dealing with the alternate option is scary. Theyโre together, but theyโre not really together. They function more like roommates, business partners, or co-parents rather than lovers.
